The latest star at Bright Lights
Since November 5, 2015 when Bentley retired, we haven’t had the heart to show another male but had an amazing time showing his daughter Brooklyn and granddaughter Tickles.
Then there was a coincidence: In 2015 while competing in the Americas & Caribbean in Chile with Bentley the bulldog, we found a great chihuahua to bring to the U.S.; 2018 we went to Americas & Caribbean again, this time in Brazil and with a chihuahua HotRod and found a great bulldog.
Bright Lights welcomed the phenomenal bulldog multiple Best in Show, multiple Best in Specialty Show, Americas & Caribbean Best in Show GCHB Diamond Gold Majesu Pisko Bulls “THOR” to the U.S. We sincerely thank the breeder Jonathan Flores and his partner Nestor Chavez in Peru their trust and the opportunity to have such a lovely dog. We are happily watching Thor mature. He has already started his very promising career here.

Eduardo began showing dogs when he went to university to study veterinary medicine in Brazil. Seeing him show his own dogs, people soon began to ask him to show their dogs. After earning his degree as a veterinarian, Eduardo chose to continue showing dogs professionally.
The first bulldog Eduardo showed as a special won Best in Specialty Show at the first Abrabull (the Brazilian bulldog national). He went on to win Best in Specialty Show at Abrabull four more times with other great bulldogs and still holds the record for most Abrabull wins. In 2013 Eduardo had the honor of showing Brix in Brazil and together they won 45 all-breed Best in Shows. These wins, when added to the many Best in Shows Brix already won in the U.S., helped him become the bulldog with the most international Best in Show wins.
In 2014 another dream came true; Eduardo had always admired Bentley and had the opportunity to show him. In two years, Eduardo and Bentley won bulldog nationals in Brazil and Chile, Best of Breed at Westminster Kennel Club and World Winner at the World Bulldog Club Federation in Milano, Italy. They also won many Best in Specialty Shows, several Reserve Best in Shows, and countless group wins and placements at AKC shows in the U.S.
After Bentley retired, Eduardo ranked two bulldog bitches Bentley’s daughter Brooklyn and granddaughter Tickles to No. 1 bitch all-breed points in the U.S. (2016 and 2017) with limited showing. A proud member of the Bulldog Club of America, Eduardo has provided handling and grooming seminars at nationals and at several division and club specialties.
